How To Pay Your Rent

The housing team will work to ensure that tenants are provided with the advice and the support they need to continue to pay their rent. It is important that tenants continue to pay your rent to avoid getting into debt, there are many ways that tenants are able to do this. Your Housing Officer can help tenants to make the most suitable arrangements to pay rent.

Setting up a Direct Debit

Paying by direct debit is the quickest, safest and easiest way to pay your rent. The benefit for Ark tenants is that there is no requirement for you to go to your bank, complete paperwork, arrange postage or go to the shop or post office to pay your rent. You can arrange to pay your rent weekly, fortnightly or monthly on a date that suits you. A member of the Customer Services Team will arrange payments with your bank or building society. It is secure and safer than cash as you are protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee. Having a direct debit arrangement set up means it is less likely that you will miss a payment and your rent account will remain up to date. Contact a member of the Customer Services Team and they can set up your direct debit today.

Pay With An allpay Card

At the start of your tenancy with Ark your Housing Officer will offer to order you an allpay card if this is your preferred method of payment. You can use it to pay at any Post Office or Pay Point Outlet, or you can pay online using allpay or downloading the allpay app (you will need to sign in, or set up an Internet Payments account).
