Ark Roadshows Put Staff and Supported People at the Heart of Future Planning

Date Posted: 19/08/2026

Ark has completed a programme of communications and engagement roadshows across Scotland, bringing together staff, tenants and supported people to share their experiences, celebrate successes and help shape the organisation's future priorities.

Over the course of nine events, held between May and August, almost 280 people took part in discussions covering everything from communication and digital transformation to workforce development, recognition, and organisational culture.

The roadshows formed part of Ark's commitment to meaningful engagement, providing opportunities for people from across the organisation to share honest feedback about what is working well and where improvements can be made.

The events highlighted the positive impact Ark's services have on the lives of supported people, alongside the dedication, compassion and professionalism of staff teams delivering support across communities throughout Scotland.

Feedback gathered during the sessions reinforced the importance of strong relationships, person-centred support and a shared commitment to Ark's values. Participants also provided valuable insights into how the organisation can continue to strengthen communication, improve systems and processes, and build on the many strengths that already exist across the organisation.

The feedback will help shape the development of the organisation's next Business Plan.

Bobby Duffy, Chief Executive Officer at Ark, said:

"The roadshows provided a fantastic opportunity to hear directly from staff, tenants and supported people from across Scotland. We were overwhelmed by the level of engagement, honesty and enthusiasm shown at every event.

The feedback we received has given us a clearer understanding of what matters most to people, what we're doing well, and where we should focus our efforts in the future. Most importantly, the events highlighted the incredible difference our staff make every day, and the strong sense of pride people feel in being part of Ark.

We're committed to listening to the people who know our services best, and the insights gathered through these roadshows will play an important role in shaping our future priorities and ensuring we continue to deliver high-quality, person-centred support and housing services across Scotland."

Ark has thanked everyone who attended and contributed their views, helping to ensure the voices of staff and supported people remain central to the organisation's future planning.
