Edinburgh Warm and Welcoming Spaces

The Edinburgh Council has introduced a warm and welcoming spaces initiative to help people with the cost of living crisis.

The website is now live www.edinburgh.gov.uk/warmandwelcoming and has lots of information about support, warm spaces and wider engagement activities.

This initiative provides access to free of charge public spaces where citizens can keep warm, enjoy a range of events and, at certain venues, access information to help with food and fuel poverty.

The interactive map at www.edinburgh.gov.uk/warmandwelcoming details venues and organisations taking part and highlights events and activities.

The Edinburgh Council is working in partnership with the third sector, voluntary organisations and community groups and the spaces include 28 Council libraries across the city, museums, galleries and community centres.
